Since introducing our battery-powered lock solutions, we have continuously expanded our range of access options to provide users with more flexibility and convenience. While mobile control remains central, there are cases where RFID cards or tags offer a simple, secure, and practical alternative for access with our Knob or Handle.
Adding RFID Access
Users with owner or admin rights can enable RFID access in just a few taps through their mobile app. After selecting the lock and choosing “RFID card” as the access type, users can easily add a new RFID card without needing the card number in advance—simply hold the card against the lock to detect and read the number.
Removing RFID access
Removing RFID access is equally straightforward. First, revoke access for the selected user in the app. Then, hold your phone close to the lock and tap “Sync RFID cards” to update access permissions.
Things to keep in mind
Because our battery-powered locks are not connected to the internet, they do not log access events automatically. Any changes to RFID access must be manually synced on each lock to take effect.
To sum up
Our RFID-enabled locks bring an additional layer of convenience for users looking to manage access via RFID cards or tags. With simple setup, seamless sharing, and quick removal, our battery-powered locks offer flexible options for users seeking both mobile and RFID access control.
