Smart MasterKey Now Works with Brivo
Our integration with Brivo is live. If your buildings run on Brivo, you can now issue mobile keys, manage visitors and give tenants control over their own people through Smart MasterKey, while your Brivo controllers keep doing what they already do. No new hardware, no on-site server, no migration project.
Brivo is a cloud access control platform used across commercial offices, residential and multifamily buildings, co-working spaces and multi-site portfolios. Doors, users and credentials are already managed online, which puts it ahead of many systems we connect to. What most property teams still lack is one layer that sits across all their buildings and treats a person's access as one thing, not as a separate record in every tool they own. That is the gap we fill.
What changes for property teams

People open Brivo-controlled doors with their phone. They use the Smart MasterKey app, or a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet where the site has compatible HID readers. Cards and fobs stop being something you order, hand out and chase back when someone leaves.
Access is managed in one place. You create and remove users, assign permissions and set up temporary access for visitors and contractors in Smart MasterKey, and the changes are applied in Brivo in real time. When a tenant's employee leaves, their access ends the moment you revoke it, not when a card eventually comes back. Guest access is time-limited from the start, so nobody has to remember to switch it off afterwards.
Every door event is recorded. You see who opened which door and when, across all your sites, in the same portal where you manage access.
If you have more than one company in a building, the Tenant feature lets each tenant manage its own people within the doors you assign to them. You keep control of the building and the logs. They stop sending you "please add our new starter" emails.
One identity across a mixed portfolio

Few portfolios run on a single access system. A landlord might have Brivo in newer buildings and Inner Range or ICT in older ones, sometimes inherited with an acquisition. Today that means separate logins, separate user lists, and a person whose access in one building has nothing to do with their access in the next. Smart MasterKey connects to Brivo alongside Inner Range Integriti, Inner Range Inception, ICT Protege GX and HID Origo, so each person has one identity and one set of access rights across the whole portfolio.
I think this is where the integration matters most for property owners. The more mixed the portfolio, the bigger the difference.
What stays the same

Your Brivo controllers, readers and configuration stay exactly where they are. Because Brivo and Smart MasterKey are both cloud platforms, they connect service to service. There is nothing to install on site and nobody has to drill a hole in a wall.
Smart MasterKey is hosted in the EU and built for GDPR, which is usually one of the first questions procurement asks.
See it working
The quickest way to understand it is to watch a phone open a Brivo door, then see that access revoked from the Smart MasterKey portal a moment later. Book a demo and we will show you on a live setup and walk through what it would look like for your buildings.
