Smart MasterKey Signs European Reseller Agreement with G4S
Smart MasterKey and G4S Europe have signed a framework reseller agreement covering 21 European countries, creating a foundation for G4S organisations across the region to offer Smart MasterKey’s mobile access technology to their customers.
The cooperation brings together G4S’s security expertise, local market presence and customer relationships with Smart MasterKey’s cloud-based access management technology. Through the partnership, Smart MasterKey aims to become a mobile key layer for G4S services, enabling customers to use smartphones for access while continuing to build on their existing access-control infrastructure.
For Smart MasterKey, the agreement marks an important step in its European expansion and creates a structured route to market through an established international security organisation.
A mobile access layer for existing infrastructure
Many organisations still rely on physical cards, fobs and other credentials to manage access to buildings and facilities. Moving to mobile access can often involve changes to existing systems, additional hardware or new software.
Smart MasterKey takes a different approach by adding a mobile access layer to compatible existing access-control infrastructure. This enables organisations to introduce smartphone-based credentials without necessarily replacing functioning hardware.
The platform provides centralised management of mobile credentials and access rights across different access-control environments. For customers, this can help reduce the cost, complexity and disruption associated with moving from physical credentials to mobile access, while extending the useful life of existing infrastructure.
Through the G4S reseller framework, participating G4S organisations can offer mobile access as an additional digital service to customers looking to modernise their existing access-control environments.
One European framework, local market rollout
The framework agreement covers 21 European markets, creating a common foundation for local G4S organisations to introduce Smart MasterKey in their respective countries.
Smart MasterKey is already active in 17 markets globally. The G4S agreement represents its first major European reseller framework and provides a structured basis for expanding through local G4S organisations, including markets where Smart MasterKey already has a presence.
The cooperation will be developed country by country, beginning with local sales and product enablement, identification of suitable customer opportunities and technical assessment of existing access-control environments. Customer deployments and broader commercial rollout will follow according to local market opportunities and requirements.
Smart MasterKey will support participating G4S organisations with product knowledge, integration expertise and customer deployment.
Smart MasterKey perspective

Looking ahead
The partnership marks an important step in Smart MasterKey’s European development and in the wider shift towards mobile-first access. As local G4S organisations begin introducing the service in their markets, Smart MasterKey will support product enablement, integration and customer deployment across the region.
