Installation & Compatibility

How do I install the SMK-H1 Handle?
  • Utilize existing DIN holes; no drilling or special tools are required.

  • Compatible with round or oval rosettes.

  • Suitable for all-glass doors when used with appropriate glass door locks.

Is the SMK-H1 Handle compatible with my door?
  • Designed for internal doors with thicknesses between 30 mm and 110 mm.

Access Methods

Troubleshooting

The handle is not responding to my mobile app.

  • Verify that the handle’s battery is not depleted.

  • Check that the handle is within the Bluetooth range of your smartphone.

  • Restart the Smart MasterKey app and attempt to reconnect.

The handle is not responding to RFID cards or fobs.
  • Ensure the RFID card or fob is compatible with the handle (e.g., MIFARE).

  • Check that the RFID card or fob is properly registered in the Smart MasterKey system.

  • Test the RFID card or fob on another compatible device to confirm functionality.

The handle’s battery life is shorter than expected.
  • Check for any firmware updates that may address battery optimization.

  • Ensure that the handle is not frequently engaging the toggle function unnecessarily.

  • If the handle is used in an outdoor environment, verify that the correct version with IP66 protection is installed.
