Installation & Setup

How do I install the SMK Padlock?

  • Use the Smart MasterKey mobile app to pair the padlock via Bluetooth.

  • Configure access settings and user permissions through the app.

Is the SMK Padlock compatible with my existing locking system?

Troubleshooting

Access via RFID isn’t working.
  • Ensure the RFID card/tag is compatible and properly registered.

  • Check for any physical obstructions or damage to the RFID reader.

  • Test the RFID card/tag on another compatible device to confirm functionality.

The padlock is offline.
  • Ensure the padlock is within Bluetooth range of your mobile device.

  • Check for any interference or obstacles that may affect the Bluetooth signal.

  • If the issue persists, consider resetting the padlock and re-pairing it with the app.
